Principle of axial movement of metal bellows expansion joint :

The welded bellows pump connector can be stretched in the direction of the shaft and allows a small amount of bending. The welded bellows pump connector is a commonly used axial bellows expansion joint for axial length compensation of pipes. In order to prevent exceeding the allowable compensation amount, a protective pull rod or a guard ring is disposed at both ends of the bellows, and a guide bracket is disposed on the pipe connecting the two ends of the protection rod or the guard ring.
